THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE AUCTION FOR UKRAINE
This auction is offered by Waddington’s November 9 – 19, 2022
Please note some of the Terms and Conditions for this auction differ from Waddington’s regular auctions.
- Waddington’s will not apply a consignor commission or buyer’s premium to purchases.
- No HST or other sales tax is applicable.
- Auction is open only to people with a Canadian or US shipping address.
- Buyers will be invoiced by the organization and individuals sponsoring the auction, and will make payment directly to CanadaHelps, who will direct funds to the Canada-Ukraine Foundation
TERMS OF BIDDING
Bidders must register to bid at waddingtons.ca in order to participate in the auction.
All sales are final. No purchase can be returned, refunded or exchanged. Bidders are legally responsible for all bids that they have placed, even if a bid has been placed in error.
Successful bidders must pay for their purchases by Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal within 48 hours of receiving their invoice.
NOTE: NO TAX RECEIPT WILL BE ISSUED
Shipping charges/fees will be responsibility of the Buyer and will be communicated once calculated. Shipping charges must then be paid prior to item shipping. An option for pickup Monday-Friday in Etobicoke Ontario, will be available, for pickup within two weeks of payment.
Bidders will be notified by Waddington’s via email when they are outbid and will also receive an alert if they are on the bidding site at the time they are outbid. In the case of identical bids, the earliest received will take precedence. Waddington’s is not responsible for technical errors or failures to execute bids.
Successful bidders will be notified by the sponsoring organization and individuals with payment and shipping instructions.
The Buyer will be the highest bidder for the lot and the Buyer immediately assumes full risk and responsibility for the lot. When you register to bid you are agreeing to these rules.
Bidding will be available on Waddington’s online auction platform from November 9, 2022 at 9:00 am ET until November 19 at 8:00 pm ET.

By bidding at auction, bidders are bound by these Conditions of Sale and Terms of Bidding.
Waddington’s and the sponsoring organization and individuals reserve the right to withdraw any work of art at any time before the actual sale. Waddington’s and the sponsoring organization and individuals make no warranties or representation of any kind or nature with respect to any work of art including, but not limited to, any representation or warranty of description, genuineness, attribution, provenance, or physical condition, nor as to the right of reproduction, if any.
