The Buddha covered in a slightly iridescent 'cafe-au-lait' glaze, the base unglazed and stamped with a Zeng Longsheng seal mark, seated on a wood lotus pedestal

曾龍昇(1901-1964),字龍生,民國時期至建國初期的雕塑名家,所作《孫中山》瓷像,在巴拿馬國際博覽會上榮獲金質獎章;建國後,《天女散花》等一批作品被選往陳列於人民大會堂。
