hand-coloured copperplate engraved map on laid paper detailing the 1759 Siege of Quebec (Battle of the Plains of Abraham) including positions of the British and French fleets, the placement of batteries on both sides of the St. Lawrence, the bombardment of Quebec and a key noting positions of major English forces in the battle, including Admiral Holmes, Admiral Sunders, General Monckton, Major Hardy, and General Wolfe, published at Amsterdam, 1765

Note:

After a three-month siege of the city by the British, the actual battle lasted only about 15 minutes. Both Generals Wolf and Montcalm were killed during the encounter.
