Note:
“It is said that at one time the muskox (umingmak) had tusks and they bothered him, mostly in the winter because they would crack and make noises, keeping the muskox awake. The Walrus (aiviq) had a horn, but because he was in the water most of the time it would become soft and was not useful for digging shellfish. The two animals exchanged the two tusks and horn, both to their mutual satisfaction”
