AN ICY NIGHT, FROM CAMERA WORK NUMBER 4, (FEATURED IN AN AD FOR GOERZ LENSES), 1898, PRINTED 1903

Photogravure on a printed sheet for Goerz Lenses with wide margins; the image on a sheet with text printed in sepia, headed at the top of the sheet on both sides: “Goerz” …. “Lenses,” above more text that reads in the left and right margins: “The original of this celebrated picture “Icy Night,” exhibited in the international exhibitions at London, Paris, Turin, Brussels, Hamburg, Philadelphia, etc., etc.” / “was made in January, Eighteen hundred and Ninety-eight, at 1:00 a.m., with a Goerz lens, Series III., full opening, and an exposure of three minutes”. Unframed.
