In memory of James

Waddington’s notes with sadness the passing of James Bisback of Jonny’s Antiques of Shakespeare, Ontario.

Noted as a connoisseur of 18th and 19th century ceramics, James showed an astonishing range of interests, and his breadth of knowledge was extraordinary, highlighted most recently in his admiration for Canadian abstract painting. An inquisitive, passionate and scholarly dealer, and always generous with his knowledge, he will be greatly missed by all in the fine and decorative art community.
