TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR ‘Historic Ukraine from Above’ Fundraising Auction – October 8 – 15, 2022
Fundraise Ukraine & The Mentor Family Network Organization (MFNO) are raising funds to help Ukrainian refugees through aid and resettlement services in Canada.
This auction features 50 aerial photographs of monuments of history and architecture of Ukraine, printed on canvas. Complete with a brief historical synopsis in English and Ukrainian, compiled by the photographer Zinoviy (Zenyk) Pidperyhora.
Please note some of the Terms and Conditions for this auction differ from Waddington’s regular auctions.
- Waddington’s will not apply a consignor commission or buyer’s premium to purchases.
- No HST or other sales tax is applicable.
- Buyers will be invoiced by the organization sponsoring the auction.
TERMS OF BIDDING
Bidders must register to bid at waddingtons.ca in order to participate in the auction.
- All sales are final. No purchase can be returned, refunded or exchanged.
- Bidders are legally responsible for all bids that they have placed, even if a bid has been placed in error.
- Successful bidders must pay for their purchases by Visa or Mastercard within 48 hours of receiving their invoice.
- Bidders will be notified by Waddington’s via email when they are outbid and will also receive an alert if they are on the bidding site at the time they are outbid. In the case of identical bids, the earliest received will take precedence. Waddington’s is not responsible for technical errors or failures to execute bids.
- Successful bidders will be notified by the sponsoring organization with payment instructions.
- The Buyer will be the highest bidder for the lot and the Buyer immediately assumes full risk and responsibility for the lot. When you register to bid you are agreeing to these rules.
- Buyers are responsible for pickup and shipping.
Bidding will be available on Waddington’s online auction platform from October 8, 2022 at 9:00 am ET until October 15 at 8:00 pm ET.

By bidding at auction, bidders are bound by these Conditions of Sale and Terms of Bidding.
Waddington’s and the sponsoring organization reserve the right to withdraw any work of art at any time before the actual sale.
Waddington’s and the sponsoring organization make no warranties or representation of any kind or nature with respect to any work of art including, but not limited to, any representation or warranty of description, genuineness, attribution, provenance, or physical condition, nor as to the right of reproduction, if any.
