Dark brown patinated bronze; signed with copyright, dated indistinctly 1985, numbered “7-10” and marked with the 'Tallix' foundry mark: 'T' over 'X' stamped to the foot of the bronze. Raised on a black granite base.

Note:
This limited edition bronze is a study for Nathan Rapoport's best known monumental sculpture “Liberation,” a war memorial to the Holocaust. The oversized figural group depicts an American soldier carrying a World War II Jewish concentration camp survivor. Cast in 1984, it was installed in Liberty State Park, Jersey City, New Jersey on May 30, 1985.
