Note:

José Guerrero studied art in Spain and Paris before moving to New York in 1950. In the U.S. he embraced the Abstract Expressionist style. Guerrero exhibited globally including shows at the Smithsonian Institution, the Whitney Museum of Art, Carnegie Institute, Guggenheim Museum, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, Seville, Spain.
