明 铜胎掐丝珐琅花鸟纹大方壶

Of archaistic 'fanghu' form, the square-section body raised on a splayed foot and the shoulders applied with two mask and loose-ring handles, two sides depicting phoenixes in flight, the other two with peacocks standing amidst flowering trees, the inside of the upper rim decorated with squirrels and grapevines, the neck decorated with suspended pendants, all above horses above crashing waves, with fitted wood base
