With heavily quilted panels of cotton cloth joined together with Sashiko stitches and dyed indigo blue, along with a pair of gloves and hood

Note:

Sashiko stitching involved layering several pieces of cotton cloth over one another and then passing a needle through the thick pieces of textile. This method reinforced the clothing so that it absorbed water easily and further added a layer of protection when fighting fires
