Hardwood Compound Cabinet Top with Hardstone and Bone Inlays, Republican Period, Early 20th Century

Decorated with the ‘100 antiques’ motif including vases, peach, ruyi and bi discs with the use of jade, carnelian, and agate inlays, some with bone or wood stands, the corners with brass hardware, each of the short sides with elaborate relief carving with central ‘shou’ character and lotus bloom flanked by five bats (wufu)
