Intricately rendered in the form of Guanyin riding a muscular Buddhist lion with its tail upturned, the deity seated with one leg raised and the other pendant while carrying a beaded necklace in her visible hand, the other covered by the heavy robes cascading into elaborate folds patterned with leaves, the whole group raised on a rocky plinth. Wood stand carved to mimic rockery with branches of pine along the front
height 14.6" — 37 cm.
