Consisting of the 'Deer Sitting Luohan', the 'Happy Luohan', the 'Raised Bowl Luohan', the Raised Pagoda Luohan', the 'Meditating Luohan', the 'Overseas Lohan', the 'Elephant Riding Luohan', the 'Laughing Lion Luohan', the 'Open Heart Luohan', the 'Raised Hand Luohan', the 'Thinking Luohan', the 'Scratch Ear Luohan', the 'Calico Bag Luohan', the 'Plantain Luohan', the 'Long Eyebrow Luohan', the 'Doorman Luohan', the 'Taming Dragon Luohan', and the 'Taming Tiger Luohan'; each with an impressed seal mark to the interior

In Chinese Buddhism, the Eighteen Luohans were the original followers of the Gautama Buddha. The number of monks was fixed to eighteen sometime around the end of the Tang Dynasty.
