Note:

Originally created as an imitation of Tang Dynasty sancai wares, this unique type of 'three-colour' sancai glaze was popularized during Kangxi's reign and is characterized by patches of white, yellow, green, brown and purple colour, affectionately named 'egg and spinach' decoration by Western collectors and 'tiger skin pattern' by Chinese antiquarians.
