明 十六世纪 铜鹿头护法神立像

Heavily cast, the deity depicted wearing multiple layers of robes incised with scrolls, his right arm raised and his left clutching a short dagger around his waist, the patina demonstrating a warm dark brown colour.

此铜像呈站姿威然立于底座之上,面相庄严,身姿挺拔,颇具动势,衣饰刻画细腻精巧,包浆浓郁自然。底部嵌于牙座上,同嵌有庞提克木珠及天然珊瑚各一颗,铜像可与牙座分离

The figure is hammered onto a custom ivory stand with a pumtek fossilized wood bead and a coral bead; the base engraved underneath with the previous owner's name 'W.Geiger Ferit Engelberg'. The statue can be removed from the base.
