The saya fitted with a brass tachi-style 'floral' koshirae, decorated on one side with two kamon (crests), the other with an alternating pattern of kamon in copper; the tsuba with cherry blossoms, the fuchi-kashira with floral patterns, and menuki with flower heads (no blade present)
