Finely cast in bronze with gilt details as a young boy wearing a gilt brocade-patterned kimono and standing with a hobby horse in between his legs, raising a toy paddle as if brandishing a sword, a rectangular gilt plaque on the back of his robe signed 'Miyao'; mounted on a rosewood stand with gilt lacquer accents
overall (including stand and paddle) height 4.7 in — 12 cm
