清中期 祁阳石雕'福禄寿'三星桌屏 作于1823年

《长物志》载:『永石即祁阳石,出楚中,石不坚,色好者有山水、日月、人物之象,紫花者稍胜,然多是刀刮成,非自然者,以手摸之凹凸者可验,大者以制屏亦雅。』祁阳石产自湖南永州祁阳县,其质细腻,色多紫色,表层多有白、绿、黄等石层,工匠因地制宜,深浅雕刻,俏色而成,如同赋彩,以之制作砚台、座屏等。清代宫廷亦有数件祁阳石屏,属于地方进贡之物。故宫博物院藏有楠木镶祁阳石菊花图插屏,构图与此例相似,可作对比品鉴,应同为祝寿用具
