All with profile of Mao Zedong (head and collar) on red background; the largest badge inscribed to the front '提高警惕 保卫祖国' (Be on Alert to Defend the Motherland), the reverse '赠给伟大的中国人民解放军 芜湖市革命委员会 1969年春节' (Gift to the Great Chinese People's Liberation Army from Wuhu City Revolutionary Committee, Spring Festival, 1969); the second largest badge with plum blossoms painted on the front, inscribed '五七 指示万岁' (Long Live the Five, Seven Instruction); and the smallest badge inscribed '伟大的中国共产党万岁! 伟大的领袖毛主席万岁! 1969.7.1' (Long live the great Communist Party of China!
