A Rare Silver Wire-Inlaid Bronze 'Dragon' Vase, Shisou Mark, Qing Dynasty, 17th/18th Century
清早期 罕见'石叟'款铜错银龙纹狮耳瓶
Of tall ovoid form, the elegant body tapering from a high shoulder applied with lion head handles, the sides finely inlaid with silver wire depicting two dragons emerging from scrolling clouds and chasing flaming pearls, one exhaling fire from its nostrils and the other brandishing sharp teeth, all above cresting, froth-capped waves, the patina of deep, reddish-brown tone and the base with two-character 'Shisou' 石叟 mark
