The interior of the dish decorated with alternating shaped and moulded panels of flowers and leaves within a band of 'crackled ice', the centre with a peony blossom surrounded by scrolling florals, the underside further decorated with the eight Buddhist emblems, a Buddhist Wheel of Dharma mark within a double circle on the base
