A Blue and White 'Phoenix' Dish, Xianfeng Mark and Period (1851-1861)
清咸豐 青花雙鳳紋盤 「大清咸豐年制」六字雙行楷書款
The interior decorated with a pair of confronting phoenixes with their wings outstretched amongst cloud wisps, the underside similarly decorated with two phoenixes in flight, the base inscribed with a six-character Xianfeng mark in underglaze cobalt blue
盘内底及外壁皆绘双凤图案,制作工艺精细,青花发色青翠,为清代宫窑传统品种。咸丰在位十年因内乱外患的干扰,较少烧造官窑瓷器,因此流传至今,较为难得。
