清光緒 洒藍釉描金壽字皮球花紋賞瓶

The vase is well-potted with a globular body rising to a waisted neck, decorated throughout in gilt with 'Shou' roundels and variously decorated medallions. The shoulder is further decorated with 'Shou' characters amidst a floral scroll, with ruyi pendants encircling the mouth and lotus lappets at the foot. The present example is from the imperial kiln made for the royal family of the Qing Dynasty.
