The finely carved and gilded figure adorned with a gilt-metal headdress and holding an unopened lotus bud in one hand and a scroll in the other, the shrine interior lacquered in gold and the exterior with gilt-metal fittings engraved with floral motifs; figure height 7.5 in (19 cm)
