Fitted with all matching black 'shakudo' (gold and copper alloy) kodachi fittings incised with floral scrolls, from the kojiri (end cap) of the saya (sheath) to the matching fuchi-kashira on the tsuka (handle), with shakudo nail menuki, the tsuba decorated with gold paulownia flowers, the saya lacquered with pine-needle decoration
