The semi-formal court robe woven in blue silk with nine gold-thread five-clawed dragons set against a background of bats, lotus flowers, clouds, rocks and crashing waves, smaller dragons on the hem beginning from the right enclosure wrapping around the collar, and again on the slaves

CONDITION DETAILS

Missing the four gold buttons; damage to inner lining (large holes near the hem, some minor hold running from the interior from top to bottom); loose threads (bottom right dragon on front, dragon on right shoulder, dragon on band that wraps from first button to shoulder); right arm - black silk panel slightly detached from rest of garment, new addition to bottom of cuff, black panels may have been shortened; right arm - large rip on the black panel, black panel may have been shortened, new addition to bottom cuff; collar has come loose on back of garment
