The darker with handle and spout rendered as a tree-trunk with deep grooves, the body decorated with raised grapes, leaves and squirrels, two seals under lid, one on the base; the lighter raised on three bun feet, the exterior with incised bamboo and prunus decoration on one side, calligraphy on the other, the spout, handle, and finial rendered as a tree-trunk, signature beneath the lid and base
