The deep bowl set on a short foot ring rising to straight sides terminating at a gently everted lip, the body profusely decorated and separated into three main bands, the first depicting various annual celebrations including Mochitsuki (mochi pounding), Hinamatsuri (Girls' Day), and Children's Day, the second painted with a continuous snow-covered landscape populated by small figures, and the last painted with an abundant gathering of mice amidst various trinkets and floral bouquets, signed on the foot in gilt 'Yabu Meizan'
