Ink on paper, three seals. TOGETHER WITH three scenes of flora and fauna including: Cheng Guanjian, Orchids, ink on paper, one seal; Shi Yi, Bamboo and Birds, ink and colour on paper, one seal; Chen Bingguang, Lotus and Bird, ink and colour on paper, one seal; all cyclically dated 1917
each 26.4" x 13" — 67 x 33 cm.

Lot 226 to 248: Chinese Scroll Paintings from the Estate of K.C. Tai
Kwok-Choi Tai taught at the College of Education for the Hong Kong government during the Second World War until he retired in the early 1980’s. The majority of the paintings from his collection was acquired in the 1950’s to 1980’s and features the works of the Southern Chinese Lingnan School.
