Lot 252 to 267: Late Qing and Early Republican Period Chinese Paintings from a Private Hong Kong Collector
The owner of this collection is a Hong Kong gentleman who owned a successful antique store in Tsim Sha Tsui before immigrating to Toronto in 1967. The majority of the scroll paintings were acquired during the 1960's and 1970's throughout Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing, with a primary focus on artists of the Late Qing to the early Republican Period.
