Carved in the round to depict a plump bird, its rounded body demarcated by layers of long elliptical-shaped feathers continuing along the underside and revealing a pair of large talons, a stock of grain to the front with the branch bending and echoing the shape of the bird’s broad chest. Modern wood stand
width 4.9" — 12.5 cm.
