Note:
Sharron Zenith Corne received a Bachelor of Pedagogy and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (HONS) from the University of Manitoba. She had a residency at the Leighton Colony, Banff Arts Centre and attended the Feminist Art Program, Los Angeles. Her writing has been included in Women Art News, New York and in Response, An Anthology (Brandeis University).
Corne's work has been exhibited at the Winnipeg Art Gallery in group and solo shows and has been shown locally, nationally and internationally including group exhibitions at La Maison Rouge in Paris and Antebellum in Los Angeles. Her paintings and drawings explore gender identity, androgyny, relationships and loss through the body as subject.
Her work was included in Desire Change, the first survey of Canadian feminist art published by McGill Queens University Press and MAWA in 2017.
