Note:

Aganetha Dyck, RCA, lives and works in Winnipeg. She has shown her work across Canada, the US, in Germany, France, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

Among many other honours, she is a recipient of the Governor General’s Award in Visual and Media Arts. Her work is in private and public collections across Canada, including the National Gallery. In 2017, Ontario-based Blue Medium Press published the first monograph on Aganetha Dyck’s work and practice, by writer Julian Jason Haladyn titled, Aganetha Dyck: The Power of the Small, which reflected her interest in environmental issues, especially as they pertain to the lives of honeybees. Since becoming allergic to the honeybee’s sting, she continues working with apiary discards, honey and beeswax.

She is represented by Michale Gibson Gallery in London.
