the inlaid oval well with central double-headed eagle Russian State Emblem, centred by Volhynian coats of arms and perimeter Cyrillic inscription "To Their Imperial Majesties from the Volyn Nobility', the rim relief carved with cyphers of Alexander III and Maria Feodorovna and coats of arms of the 12 Volyn Uyezd cities amongst floral and wheat sprays, all flanked by winged cherubs and Celtic knot carved handles
