Greiffenstain (a castle), we allowed the Abbot and the Congregation of the abbey to buy it (the house) with our favor and our good will from lord Gundaker of Passau for three hundred fourty mark silver solder of our weight that was honestly weighed. So, the abbot and the people of the abbey shall have this house with all the rights that belong with it forever. (next sentence is a guess). And they should the beforehand mentioned house not extend with another house and not buy more. (?) But what they build within it is well in our will and our favor. That this speech and this purchase my stay forever, this we witness with this letter that is sealed with the seal of the city. This letter is to be given in Vienna to the abbot of St. Stephen's.
