Lot Report

Note:

The present lot is also known as a Thermarine Recorder, which is an instrument used to record water temperature vs. depth. This information was used to improve sonar accuracy aboard submarines which is affected by thermoclines (colder layers of water) that distort the sonar's 'pinging'; this, in turn, improved torpedo accuracy.
