Note:

The Phillips family spent the summer of 1920 at Lake of the Woods where they rented a cottage at Keewatin Beach. Mary, the subject of this lot, was one of five Phillips children. This print has two known states - the first with an edition size of 50, the second state for which the edition size is unknown.
