Inscription on the flyleaf: Mr. Karsh kindly gave us a copy of his book when it first appeared. He of course inscribed it to us. It was at one time put in a guest room and disappeared. Mr. Karsh has now made another copy available to us. The Rideau Hall bookplate was put in to it in error, but I have now put in our own bookplates. N.E.M. Government House, August 1971.
