Note:

An early drawing of esteemed Canadian artist, William Winter. Winter moved to Toronto from Winnipeg in 1937 after training under Frank H. Johnston and Lionel LeMoine Fitzgerald at the Winnipeg School of Art.

In 1942, William Winter, Jack Bush and Leslie Wookie established the commercial art firm "Wookie, Bush and Winter". Bush completed this drawing of Winter during this time.
