Note:

A graduate of the National School of Fine Arts in Havana, Julio Ferrer is a member of the Cuban pop art movement and has won numerous awards for his work. His paintings offer a traditional narrative of daily Cuban life, but are tinged with a sarcastic humor and a vignette, almost comic book, style that sets him apart from his contemporaries. The artist currently resides in Hamilton, Ontario where he continues to work and exhibit.
