Danis Osuna Milo (1977- )

Provenance:
Casuccio Gallery, Toronto;
The Estate of John Casuccio, Toronto
Note:
Alejandro Robaina (1919-2010) was dubbed the godfather of cuban cigars, and he was recognized by the Cuban government as the country’s best tobacco grower.
At 14 years of age, Danis Osuna Milo was recruited to an art school, where he lived and was educated until he was able to attend University level studies. Graduating from Carlo Hidalgo Institute of Art in 2001, he has since held many exhibitions in Cuba, and has been the recipient of many awards. His portrait studies have been well received internationally, as they represent a subtle narrative of Cuban life.
