Antonio Marino Souto (known as Nico) is a graduate of the Concepcion Arenal School in Havana with a joint degree in art and journalism. A founding member of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) and the Union of Journalists of Cuba (UPEC), Nico’s illustrious career has earned him awards both nationally, and internationally. His background as a caricaturist and cartoonist is exemplified throughout his bright, colourful and often humourous works.
