the 6 1/2 inch brass dial signed Joseph Knibb, London, below 6 o’clock with Roman chapter ring having Arabic minute track, matte centre cherubic spandrels pierced and shaped steel hands, rack and snail movements striking on single bell with 5 latched baluster pillars, verge escapement, symmetrical floral and foliate engraved back plate signed Joseph Knibb, Londini, the caddy top case with laurel tied gilt handle, all raised on later gilt ball feet
handle down height 13.25" — 33.7 cm.

Repeating mechanism absent. Later gilt ball feet. Strike lever requires adjustment to contact hour wheel lifting pin.
