Note:

In the 1930’s, Manievich visited and painted regularly at the Montreal home of the grandfather of the present Private Collection. The family indicates, “...meals were very lively, with Manievich frequently creating amusing objects with pieces of bread to everyone’s delight.” In addition to his friendship with Manievich, the collector maintained an association with Dr. Joseph Stern.
