CONDITION DETAILS

Engraved with a greyhound crest; teapot has a larger scraped area underneath than would be normally seen for assay; hot water pot is less sturdy and has a few minor dents; otherwise all in substantially good condition, the three-piece set is particularly good weight; all well marked - hot water pot is the 1820 date, by Smith and the three piece set by Stroud is 1821/22, the maker’s mark on the cream jug appears to have been overstruck by Smith
