for the Middle Eastern market, painted in colours with panels of Venus and cupids and a disconsolate young woman with attendants, portrait panels between, the slender neck with two further cupids, reserved on a ground of colourful chrysanthemums and leaves heightened with raised gilding and borders of pale blue, green and pink scrollwork
