the first an alphabet sampler (Aged 10) worked in brightly coloured wool on linen ground, the bottom register with typical floral and animal motifs, in grain painted frame, the second a large Adam and Eve verse sampler signed 'Her work, Aged 12 in the year of our Lord 1833' in a painted frame
