The arms are those of Entwistle of Foxholes, Rochdale, Co. Lancaster, for John Entwistle (1784-1837), Sheriff of Lancashire (1824), who was elected MP for the borough of Rochdale in 1835

Engraved with armorials, crests and motto IN DEO FIDO on the covers; a few very minor dents, scuffs and scratches; otherwise substantially in good condition; all well marked
