CONDITION DETAILS

Some forks with the tines separating from the handles, of these, 2 luncheon fork are loose; a few minor dents and bent tines; otherwise in good condition; all well marked; the numbers appear to be uneven though the difference in sizes is minimal among the forks and knives and they are largely interchangeable; the knives with steel blades are not included in the weight (dinner/luncheon knives, carving pieces and sharpener), though the weight includes minimal tare from the plaster setting in the hollow handles of the silver bladed/tined knives and forks (dessert/fish knives and forks, and the fish servers); one pair of sugar tongs is dated 1880, and two other pieces with earlier dates (1913/14)
